• Priene, one of the few ancient sites that still preserves a unique Hellenistic look, is located on the slopes of Mt Mykale. Priene is the first city in history that was laid upon the Hellenistic grid plan. Miletus is an ancient city famous for its well-preserved Roman theatre. As the city is mentioned in the Bible, it also attracts bible-oriented tours. Didymaion is home to the famous Temple of Apollo, counted among the largest temples of the Greco-Roman world. Visitors are fascinated by the grandiosity of the well-preserved temple.
